- How long will it take to finish Tinting my vehicle?
We hand cut all of our film to guarentee the perfect fit to any vehicle. This process can take anywhere from 1 to 5 hours depending on type of vehicle and what is being done.
- What is the darkest film you carry?
We keep all percentages of films in stock. (5% to 80%)
- What is the legal limit for North Carolina?
The legal limit for NC is 35% for car’s (front and back) and 35% on the front of all SUV’s and truck’s with any percentage on the back half.
- Can window film help my ac?
Yes, film can cut down heat in a vehicle by up to 10 degrees reducing heat buildup. The ac will not have to continuously run on high once a comfortable level is reached.
- Will film make it hard to see at night?
Autobahn Films have amazing clarity. Depending on personal preference and what percent is applied visibility may be reduced in various ways. However darker films can reduce glare from headlights.
- What benefits are there in residential or commercial tinting?
The biggest contribution to tinting any architectural establishment is cutting down power bills both in the summer and winter. Film will cut down fading of floors and upholsteries. It also allows for privacy and safety precautions.
